Cohort

A cohort is a group of players who installed the game on the same day. The grouping of players into cohorts is typically used to analyse patterns and trends among similar players over time. Cohort-based forecasting recognises that different cohorts have different behavioural trends and must be modelled and forecast individually to gain an overall view of the future.
